Advent/Christmas 2019

Come and see the magical display of 50 Christmas trees, all decorated by local families, groups, and businesses Enjoy seasonal music from local choirs and musicians throughout the weekend and relax with excellent homemade hot & cold lunches and teas in the Festival Cafe. It's a lovely way to start your Christmas!

Entry £4, accompanied children free.

On Saturday morning 10.30-11.30, we offer a “quiet hour” for disabled visitors and their carers, who may prefer to enjoy the display when the church is not crowded or noisy.

The Hitchin Christmas Tree Festival 2019

Holy Saviour Church, Radcliffe Rd.

11.45am - 6pm

(Doors open 11.30am for grand switch-on of lights.)

Over 200 cribs from around the world, each with its own story, will be on display.

£3 entry, children free.

Nativity Crib Festival, St Ippolyts Church

We invite all the local community to remember Fr Michael on his first anniversary. 

Sunday December 1st we have an Advent service with memories of Fr Michael being shared at 6pm in Our Lady's Church.

We are also having two masses to celebrate his anniversary at 10am and 7.30pm on Monday 2nd December. 

All are welcome to join us as we remember dear Fr Michael.

This annual Churches Together in Hitchin event will take place on Sunday 15th December at 4.00 pm. The carols will be introduced by the Rev Andrew Henton Pusey of Walsworth Road Baptist Church and the Rev Phil Jackson of Zeo Church and they will be accompanied by Hitchin Community Band. All welcome - bring friends and family with you for this half an hour of Christmas worship.
